Libra Theatre has been working in Cambridge with actors of all abilities and skill levels since 1984. Our aim is to produce challenging and entertaining theatre of a professional standard.
Our last theatre production was The Dragon of Wantley
based on the 17th-century poem of the same name and directed by
Stephanie Hall. The play incorporated songs written in a workshop by
Libra members themselves under the musical guidance of Will Hall. The
two performances took place in late July 2010 and a DVD of the play
will be available to buy in the autumn.
Liba also has a thriving film section which is currently working on its fourth film project: film noir. All films are devised, acted, filmed and produced by Libra members.
Libra is currently looking for new volunteers to help at workshops. Please see the joining and volunteering section for details.
