Our Performances and Projects

As well as our programme of workshops, we aim to produce one major production every year. In addition we enter local drama and arts festivals. Our last production was based around a seventeenth century poem, The Dragon of Wantley. This was performed in July 2010.

Last year we also completed our third dedicated film project and screened the result, a film entitled A Nose for Mystery, at our 25th anniversary celebration. We are now working on our fourth project on film noir. Funding for the film projects has come from Cambridge City Council and the Cambridgeshire branch of the Local Network Fund, a national fund for children and young people. The Local Network Fund is administered by Cambridgeshire ACRE (based in Littleport). Our current project has been funded by the Grassroots Grant which is managed by Cambridge Community Foundation.

Whilst our core funding comes from Cambridge City and Cambridge County Councils, our past productions have also benefitted from awards from Barclays Bank, Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, English Heritage, Local Network Fund and The Arts Council England, to whom we are indebted for their support.
